Safe inflatable hire starts well before the equipment is set up at your event.
At Monsterball Margaret River, we think about the whole setup – your venue, available space, ground surface, anchoring, power, weather and how the equipment will be supervised.
Whether it’s a jumping castle for a birthday or several attractions for a major community event, we’ll work with you to make sure the right equipment is going into the right space.
Every inflatable, venue and event comes with different requirements. Before event day, we’ll ask a few questions about your location and setup so our team knows what to expect when we arrive.
The more we know beforehand, the smoother your setup will be.
Our inflatables are professionally maintained and regularly checked so they’re ready for action when they arrive at your event.
Our event procedures also include equipment checks, with electrical equipment tested and tagged where required.
Grass, concrete and bitumen all require different approaches when it comes to securing an inflatable.
Where possible, inflatables are secured using appropriate stakes. For suitable hard-surface setups where pegging isn’t possible, approved weighted anchoring may be required.
Tell us what surface you’re working with when you enquire and we’ll let you know what your setup needs.
Margaret River weather doesn’t always follow the event plan.
Wind, rain and changing conditions can affect whether an inflatable can safely stay open. Conditions are monitored where required and equipment may need to be temporarily closed or deflated if it becomes unsafe to operate.
We know that can be disappointing on event day, but safety will always come before keeping an attraction running.
Inflatables need appropriate supervision whenever they’re being used.
Depending on the equipment and your booking, supervision may be provided by a Monsterball operator or an approved supervisor from your event.
We’ll let you know what’s required and explain the operating rules, participant limits and important safety information before the fun begins.
Monsterball carries $20 million Public Liability Insurance.
If you’re organising an event for a school, council, business, club or venue and need insurance or supporting safety documentation, let us know during the booking process and we can help with what’s required.
Our team is trained in the setup and operation of Monsterball equipment.
From choosing the setup position and securing the inflatable through to completing final checks before use, we follow established procedures to get everything ready for your event.
Backyard birthday? School oval? Sporting club? Winery? Community event?
Every location presents something different, so don’t worry if you’re not sure whether an inflatable will work at your venue.
Tell us where your event is, how much space you have, what the ground surface is like and which equipment you’re interested in. Our Margaret River team can help work out what will suit your location.
We service Margaret River, Cowaramup, Prevelly, Gnarabup, Gracetown, Witchcliffe, Augusta, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Busselton and surrounding communities.
Yes. Our inflatable equipment is regularly inspected and maintained, with additional checks forming part of our preparation and event procedures. Relevant equipment is also subject to required professional inspections.
Depending on the inflatable and location, yes.
Inflatables may be suitable for grass, concrete, bitumen and other approved surfaces, but the way we secure the equipment will change depending on the ground.
Tell us about your setup area when you enquire and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Weather conditions are taken seriously when operating outdoor inflatables.
Wind and other weather conditions are monitored where required, and inflatables must only operate within their permitted conditions. If conditions become unsuitable, an attraction may need to be temporarily closed or deflated until it is safe to continue.
Yes, inflatable equipment requires appropriate supervision while in use.
Supervision arrangements depend on the equipment and your booking. Monsterball operators may be available, or in some circumstances the client may nominate suitable supervisors who will be provided with the relevant operating instructions.
We’ll confirm the supervision requirements for your equipment before the event.
It depends on the inflatable.
You’ll need enough room for the inflatable itself as well as the required clearance and anchoring area around it. Access to the setup location also needs to be considered.
If you’re unsure, send us your venue details and the inflatable you’re interested in and we’ll help you work it out.
